Has a team ever been this hilariously bad in the trenches on both sides of the ball? Fourth-worst pressure rate, dead last in sacks—yeah, that’s not exactly a winning formula. So, we’re gonna do the safe, sober, un-sexy thing: grab one of the top defensive line prospects, pair him with a returning Barmore and a developing White, and just hope we can finally build a dominant unit somewhere on this roster.

Will Johnson narrative is really interesting to me. Brugler has him #13 on his big board and Jeremiah’s 1.0 mock had him at #15. The people who are best sourced seem to be signaling that he isn’t viewed as the top 5 pick blue chipper that he was assumed to be at the start of the season. Maybe that’ll bounce back if he has a great combine

 

I think him being injured this season might have something to do with the hype around him fading.

 

it’s very possible - I wonder if it’s around lingering injury concern by front offices (may actually cause a drop) or just not being top of mind because of an injury (probably just a news cycle thing moreso than a true “issue”)

 

I'm betting on the ladder until we get to the combine.
