Colts select Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State Porter mixes the size that Ballard likes in a CB with the straight line speed needed more in Anarumo’s defense than in either of the past couple schemes we’ve played. Plus Ballard loves position switch guys who might be a little raw. Might be a reach, but I anticipate he’s a big combine winner which would bring him to about here
The Arizona Cardinals select Xavier Restrepo WR, Miami I think they need another WR, particularly one to play out of the slot. Restrepo is also just a draft crush of mine so I'm gonna snag him.
The Cincinnati Bengals select Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College Huge fan. With Ossai and Sample both as FAs, and neither one being particularly noteworthy so far in their career, the Bengals seek to bolster their defensive front. Adding Kenneth Grant and Ezeiruaku to Trey Hendrickson and an emerging Kris Jenkins is an immediate turnaround. @whitenblue88 western birds
This is probably the most excited I've been about Boston College's contribution to the draft since Matt Ryan
Seahawks select Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA it took me way too many tries to spell this dude’s last name correctly. Also, Seattle only has 1 off ball LB currently under contract who isn’t a back-of-the-roster waiver claim kind of guy
Denver Broncos select: TJ Sanders - DI - South Carolina Gamecocks This pick could easily go to a RB or WR to continue helping Nix but there are a lot of holes to fix on the defensive side. DJ Jones is a consistent run stuffer but gets no pressure up front. TJ Sanders is a good size fella that can get pressure up front. Something which the Broncos haven't had a DT like that in years.
Let’s go with Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss for Pittsburgh. CB is a bit up in the air right now. Donte Jackson was fine, but he also wasn’t extended which leaves us with Corey Trice on the other side, which doesn’t feel like an upgrade yet. @MidDave Buccaneers pick
I admittedly haven’t looked at the CBs yet. But I haven’t heard people talking about them with a lot of excitement.
I think it is. Lots of the guys who were hyped at the beginning of the season either got hurt (Revel, Morrison, Johnson) or got enough in NIL to keep them from taking the mid-round NFL $ (Tacario Davis, Davison Igbinosun, Mansoor Delane, etc) that it took the wind out of the sails of this class
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Savion Williams, WR, TCU I don't anticipate Godwin being back, but even if he is injuries at WR almost derailed the Bucs season last year.
