Pretty sure he’s hopping on Nate Tice’s podcast Football 301 for the next episode so I imagine he’ll come up in conversation on there

It's incredible how the narrative for two years running is "Texas has top 50 caliber WRs that are performing historically bad only because of their awful QB" and at the same time go "yes this is a 2nd round QB"

Absolutely

 

With Ewers it's 100% potential and that's it. If it were based on who he is now he'd be day 3 without a doubt

 

Same reason he was so highly touted out of HS in the first place

He's gotta DO something though

 

I'm still high on Golden. I think he developed chemistry with Ewers very well and consistently did what he needed to do.

I'm not high on Ewers, because of...how he played.

I also don't like Bond even when considering his potential. I think the mismatch between Ewers and Bond absolutely goes both ways. During the season, at first, I gave Bond a lot of grace but when he came back and the difference between Bond and Golden was so apparent, it became obvious that Bond was a weak link as well and the misses were equal part him freelancing and failing, not JUST Ewers missing. I don't think he's a top 50 caliber WR.

 

I think Golden is gonna be a stud. Bond doesn't do anything for me having tried to focus on that 2nd-4th round WR range. Just a total meh.

 

Bond is not good. Golden is good. When in doubt, look at who gets the plays when the team is desperate.

He didn't play quite enough to know really

If you compare his potential to the potentials of this year's QBs though he would be #1 but he has to ACTUALLY start a college year first

 

he would definitely be top 2 at worst.

 

I'm torn. 1. The Titans taking a Manning would be funny but 2. The Giants might be VERY desperate and give them an absurd package

 

The Browns do not deserve him. Unfortunately none of the top teams do either lol
