Not sure Simmons will be at 31 but KC likes to move up a few spots if they want a guy badly enough

Post Free Agency Patriots Needs Tiers

    Tier 1
    LT
    WR
    EDGE

    Tier 2
    CB
    Safety
    RB

    Tier 3
    IOL
    TE
    DL
    LB
    RT
    Kicker

    Tier 4
    QB
    Punter

Free agency really only impacted shifting down DL and CB. They had so many needs even spending hundreds of millions leaves holes. But getting a running mate for Gonzo was high on my list so accomplishing that immediately knocks CB down. Honestly it might even be down in tier 3 if they retained Jonathon Jones or their CB coach Mike Peligrino who has a knack for developing CBs.

LB, I personally HATE their Linebacker group. It's like, the total opposite of what I look for in a LB, but they've invested pretty heavily there so I would be surprise to see anything more than a 3rd used to re-enforce.

Safety and Running Back are a sneaky high need considering the extensions handed out last year. Dugger looked terrible last year and Jabrill Peppers is a scumbag. I still like Rhomondre Stevenson, and think he'll perform better back in the Josh McDaniels offense but man did he suck last year and obviously he's a very specific, rather un-dynamic skillset so I wouldn't mind bringing in someone with a bit more juice to shake up the options.

Do wingspan too. That's where Campbell's frame gets really special.

Edited in some thoughts on some of the less obvious position groups for the Pats. Feel free to 'Ok" lol

I haven’t looked at Tyleik yet, but I’ve heard his name a few times. I like Harmon a lot for our scheme. Kenneth Grant would be nice too.

It's bananas lol. I'm not OUT on him being an OT but he would definitely be a 1 out of 1 at LT. But hey, special players defy the norms all the time.

I'm still really mad at Jerod Mayo for not letting Caedan Wallace put some tape together in those last two games. Him being a complete question mark kinda sucks considering how high of a pick he was.

    The rivalry is back on

    hit me with Colts intel

need starters (or at least depth that creates the facade of competition) at TE, RG, WILL

don’t really need depth but I don’t rule out an early pick at OT, EDGE, CB if the board falls right

need day 3 depth at QB, RB, TE, IDL, LB, S

I'm realizing that most of the teams represented here are the ones i have the least info on lol

I didn't include you or @Swoos cause literally most of what I've got is stuff you all have told me. Idk if I got this from you or not but I've seen some Jihaad Campbell chatter.

My Panthers notes are like 90% "Jalon Walker" dating back to December lol

Here’s everyone I’ve seen reports that they’ve done visits with so far:

    RB - Jaydon Blue, Texas
G - Donovan Jackson, Ohio State
OT - Charles Grant, William & Mary
OT - Josh Conerly Jr., Oregon
    OT - Marcus Mbow, Purdue
OT - Anthony Belton, NC State
    ER - Olwuafemi Oladejo, UCLA
ER - Tyler Baron, Miami (FL)
ER - Donovan Ezeiruaku, Boston College
    ER - Elijah Roberts, SMU
    CB - Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky

Not sure how I feel about making a large investment in OT this year after giving Lane Johnson a one-year extension through 2027. Obviously, you can’t project injuries and he could always start declining, but it’s beginning to feel like the Jason Peters thing all over again where I wonder if he’s just gonna keep on playing and they eventually go year by year with him. I think they have bigger needs than drafting someone who will be projected for a swing tackle role until 2028 barring any surprise with Lane or Jordan Mailata.

Fwiw only one of those guys is a 100% for sure tackle and two of them are almost certainly not

Also don’t know how I feel about the Eagles making a notable investment in a guard either. Maybe they end up Tyler Steen because I don’t think they like him very much, but he was a third round pick a couple years ago. He probably just stinks, but I think he should be given one more offseason for the starting job.

They also traded a solid safety for a shitass guard in the final year of his final contract. In Stoutland I trust, so it seems like he was their move at that position this offseason. If they spend a notable pick on a guard, then what was the point of trading for Green? I guess they could trade Steen, but then they just offloaded a starting safety for a backup guard just to supposedly shed cash lol
