the Campbell thing is weird to me because he played LT in the SEC, it isnt like he was playing in D1-AA or something and they are questioning if he can play there. I get the short arms thing but the tape is the tape.

My thing with Campbell, and they've got Scarnecchia back in the building for this so I'm prepared to trust his evaluation, but it seems you need to answer two questions on Campbell:

    1) Is he a LT
    2) If you're anything less than 100% certain, is he a Quenton Nelson where if you move him inside you're at least getting an elite IOL.

I'm not going to act like I am an expert in OL arm length, nor did I really know what appropriate arm length should be before Will Campbell being the main guy on the board, but the big talking point in Boston media is there has not been a Pro bowl OT with that short of arm length in over 2 decades.

Now maybe the previous guys just weren't as good prospects? Maybe he can be the exception? Just scares me a bit. I also find it silly we're talking what 3/8's of an inch being a difference maker lol

the arm length thing is almost like a self fulfilling prophecy i guess? like yeah there hasn't been any notable exceptions because teams are holding themselves to that standard and moving those guys inside right lol

I wish I knew more on it haha, legit never even thought about offensive lineman arm length over a matter of 3/8 inches before these last few months

  8. Porter tested well but hasn’t he only played CB like 8-9 games? Feels like a real project. Wouldn’t mind him late 2nd or early 3rd though.

The Eagles can afford a project corner

Honestly, still trying to determine which positions the Eagles will look to address the most.

    - It’s sounding more and more like Dallas Goedert is gone and not a single TE on the roster is under contract after this year.

    - DT is quietly a need. I think Moro Ojomo is their in-house replacement for Milton Williams, but both Jordan Davis and Thomas Booker are in contract years, plus Ojomo will be in the final year of his deal next year.

    - Edge rusher is looking pretty shaky. Nolan Smith is a locked in starter, but Jalyx Hunt is the early projected starter across from him. That’s a big leap to expect from a guy who didn’t play much last year and didn’t produce much when he did. I don’t think Azeez Ojulari should be anything more than a rotational guy given his injury history. Bryce Huff and Josh Uche are the next guys worth mentioning, but they might not even make the team.

    - Safety is looking bleak. I like Reed Blankenship as a starter, but the depth chart behind him includes Sydney Brown, who was fifth on the depth chart last season after spending last offseason recovering from a torn ACL, and a bunch of roster bubble guys in Tristin McCollum, Lewis Cine, and Andre Sam.

So those are the four positions I’d like to see them address most, but you could argue for other positions as well:

    - Jeremiah Trotter is penciled in to start next to Zack Baun while Nakobe Dean recovers from injury, which is a big leap to expect from Trotter.

    - They could stand to improve upon Jahan Dotson at WR, and especially upon Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith.

    - They love drafting and developing OL and they don’t seem to like Tyler Steen, who is penciled in at RG.

    Pittsburghs needs after free agency:

    1. Starting caliber QB: not a high draft pick selection this year (trade the farm next year, maybe). I’m intrigued by a later round selection of Will Howard or Tyler Shough, maybe.

    2. Starting DT: someone to start alongside Hayward and Benton. Maybe take two, and groom one for a year or two down the line.

    3. RB 1/2: I really like Warren, but we need someone else since he hasn’t ever played workhorse back and is known to miss a game here and there.

    4. Swing Tackle: they’ll give Fautanu and Jones first grabs at the starting slots, but I feel like Jones will be on a short leash.

    5. CB outside/slot: JPJ is great, and Trice and Slay are solid, but we need someone to take over the slot and someone to really take control of CB2.

Depth needs: WR, S, G, QB,

    Probably to an extent.

I’m not gonna pretend I know jack shit, so I’m just going off what Scar has said publicly about Campbell. (He was the Pats OL coach during the Bill years and is generally regarded as one of the best position coaches ever) and he said to paraphrase “I couldn’t give less a fuck about arm length.”

His emphasis was on footwork, both technique and speed and overall strength.

    RB
    WR
    TE
    OC
    IDL
    ILB
    S
    CB

Those are the spots I'd like to see Denver address in the draft. Top "needs" would be RB, WR, ILB or maybe Safety

Luke Goedeke, Braden Smith, Bernhard Raimann, Kaleb McGary, Rashawn Slater all have the same arm length or lower fwiw.

Players I've got written down so far for these teams

WR - Travis Hunter, Tetairoa McMillan, Jack Bech
OT - Will Campbell, Armand Membou, Josh Simmons, Ozzy Trapilo
    IDL - Nazir Stackhouse
    EDGE - Jalon Walker

    - Multiple OL/DL picks

I've heard nothing Eagles wise. All I've got is a list of players that I've seen several people say would be good fits - Alfred Collins, Josaiah Stewart, Walter Nolen

    - More likely to go DL in the first than QB - linked to Derrick Harmon and Tyleik Williams
    - Mid-round QB - Jalen Milroe, Kyle McCord, Will Howard
    - Another RB (no names though)

all I've got so far is they like Josh Simmons a lot

No names but I keep seeing safety and OL depth are priorities.

Most of the names I've seen for Denver are like "if he somehow falls then that's their guy" which is useless lol. But hey is Ashton Jeanty falls to the 20s then you're in luck!

    - RB is being addressed early
    - ILB and S are both priorities
    - Early TE isn't happening unless something wild happens
    - Multiple corner picks
