I do think if there’s a trade up for Hunter the Patriots are the only team that can take the offer and move

Titans Browns and Jaguars I feel need to stay put (and will) and Jags won’t let Hunter past them (or will they)

Means Hunter at 4 would be there. And I’m still torn on what I want the patriots to do because they need o-line help, but I lean take him. Fuck it.

And make him a full time WR.

 

I’ve seen or heard a lot of chatter over the course of the season about Hunter wanting to play both WR and CB, but the most compelling argument I’ve heard for that is him being a full-time CB and a gadget player on offense

 

Hunter can be a lockdown #1 CB in the NFL IMO

to me, while he is a very good WR prospect and would certainly be an NFL player there, I don't think the ceiling is there at that position

but I agree he absolutely won't be playing both ways fully.

 

It wouldnt surprise me if he never plays WR

 

Throwing against Travis Hunter and Christian Gonzalez does not sound fun. Especially with Milton Williams and Keion White coming for you.

I also stupidly believe in a lot of the 2nd and 3rd round Tackle depth.

 

I think the Patriots should just go BPA at 4 if they can’t trade down. Have to think one of Carter or Hunter will be there

 

I think the Pats should pick a punter at #4 overall

i think it’s most likely he plays full time CB with some spot receiver snaps but if the Pats or someone more in need of a receiver take him, full time receiver + nickel back seems doable and likely

 

With how often teams run their offenses in 11, I have a tough time seeing Hunter play close to 100% of the offensive snaps and, like, 70% of the defensive snaps

 

I'm torn because now I think Hunter along with Ward and Emmerson would be a really good CB room. But Carter and Garrett would also be good. I still think they take Sanders at 2 though.

 

I think Howie’s gonna call every GM and tell em to be dumb as shit so Hunter can fall to the Eagles at 32 and join Quinyon and DeJean
