I honestly think that might be too generous to the floor of Ewers. I've seen Andy Dalton (as a prospect) as a comparison and I feel like that's a pretty fair one

When they say “rare” in regards to a prospect, I prefer to think they are comparing them to how a steak a cooked.

 

For all of the Seahawk fans roaming around here (oh wait), this is a pretty interesting combine overview that discusses a lot of what this coaching staff is looking for in each position - since last year Macdonald had barely taken the job and didn't attend the combine.

 

I feel validated that I grabbed a strong class in this person’s eyes for what SEA looks for in Mock 1.0

also it is my biggest draft pet peeve when people make big boards that name the draft tiers by round and then don’t fill them to the number of players that go in that range. It’d be one thing if there was a criteria where sometimes it goes over in strong classes and under in weak classes, but it’s ALWAYS understated when people label boards that way

 

I understand their logic but it's just mislabled. They say it's "would certainly go 1st round in any given draft" but at the same time you're ranking them for THIS draft.

 

even with that, there’s an implication that there’s a hypothetical draft class out there that the 10th best player of this draft would maybe not be a first rounder in, which is a wild take even in a down year

 

I feel really strongly about the Ozzy Trapilo to the Pats thing. There’s just so much smoke there already.
