Yeah I'm probably blending my two main memories of him. I do remember him being a big story in the WS, the recovery must have been why.

He should have retired after the 2008 season being a Brave for life, 2009 wasn’t kind to him.

 

I thought he was with the tigers before the Braves but I guess he never made it past double-A with them.

unfortunately while discovering that I also discovered that he was let go from mlb network for refusing the covid vaccine and has some pretty gross quotes re: gay marriage.
