Rays, Cedric Mullins Agree To One-Year Deal don’t hate the move and hope he can have a bounce back year with the rays, but the rays have gone from a dreadful outfield situation to potentially less dreadful, but crowded outfield situation from a left handed hitting aspect Josh Lowe, Jake Fraley, Chandler Simpson, Richie Palacios (more of a utility guy) and Jake Mangum (switch hitter) likely all won’t stay as LHH outfielders, so I wonder if the Rays are ready give up on Josh or trade one of Simpson/Mangum while their stock is decent if not spectacular (i’d personally rather them take a longer look at simpson and see what he can develop into with more defensive refinement) tldr: rays went from not enough mediocre LHH outfielders to too many mediocre LHH outfielders this offseason
