Literally first pack of cards I’ve bought in 20+ years lol

 

I tried buying a few packs every year for 2-3 years recently after a long break (I collected from 97 to maybe 2003) and the entire game had changed too much.

From my vantage point, they sorta got rid of 99.99% of all card series and only kept what I always thought was the most basic economy series. And I never got any inserts or special cards over those years. So it kinda felt disconnected from what drew me in as a kid, which was finding rarer cards, seeing what weird creative ideas they could come up with, and hunting for specific rarer series at the different shops in town. I was never into buying complete sets or buying full boxes for a chance to get some rare cards.

 

Bought 2 MLB and one NBA holiday box for the heck of it

Still gonna stick to Judge singles primarily, but I never feel disappointed by the holiday megas lol

Mostly dud cards. Two somewhat limited chrome cards for players I don’t know and then some nice non-limited cards for players I like and then about 80 ones I don’t care about at all haha
