As a Leafs fan, I think it's more the whole "Teams from Toronto are very bad in elimination games" thing.

Pulling Mize after only 3 innings for our terrible bullpen is one of the most awful decisions I can think of. This one is done.

 

I know someone already said something but Joe Davis call of Aaron judge home run is my new fave thing

Josh Naylor trade paying off handsomely today.

 

I think he’s neat.

 

Just cannot imagine much worse of a series. This team is mentally cooked and I’m genuinely worried how it’ll carry over next year too. Swing at everything. Bullpen is bad. Skubal is our only true starter I trust, and if I’m him I’m putting in my trade request right after this game. Gleyber won’t re-sign, Illitch is too cheap to do anything in the offseason too, he’ll give the “we like what we see, we won a playoff series!” And do bare minimum.
