Shitty end to a weird season.

At times the Red Sox looked awful, at times they looked average and at times they looked like a team that could make it to the WS. At the end of the day the Roman Anthony injury really killed the team’s chances of making a run in October, along with every SPer getting hurt not named Crochet or Bello. If Duran catches that ball last night the Sox might be in Toronto right now but with the way the team has been hitting for over a month now they couldn’t afford to make mistakes like that and give teams extra outs.

Should be an interesting offseason. Hopefully ownership sees that there is a good foundation right now they just need a few big puzzles to be a powerhouse.

there was some bounce back with judge/bellinger, then ohtani/soto/acuna rookies but covid, stimulus checks, and people treating cards as a speculative asset made it all go crazy. plus sports gambling proliferation as opening packs or boxes is more or less gambling

all the sports stars are starting to open their own card shops and topps owning the market and a million autos and chase cards has led to this boom

 

there’s like two to three card shows a month here in Fresno it’s nuts lol they just be grinding out there selling

 

I collected a lot when I was a kid, probably still have binders full of baseball and hockey cards at my parents house, but unfortunately it’s all 80’s/90’s stuff from when the market was saturated

 

I want him to get a ring more than anyone
