Tough game that was absolutely winnable. Not sure how Duran didn’t catch that ball or why Eaton stopped running. If either play happens the Sox are heading to Toronto.

I said before the series I wasn’t confident and I’m still not. Only positive of tonight was the Sox stayed away from Chapman and the Yankees had to use Williams, Cruz and Bednar again so they will be pitching 3 days in a row tomorrow.

I have to think Cora is hoping Early can get into the 5th and then the pen usage will be similar to tonight with LHPer after LHPer and hopefully hand the ball to Chapman in the 9th with the lead.

 

I can think of several jokes involving that name, but none are appropriate for a family thread
