I had no problem with Cora leaving Chapman in the 9th with the bases loaded and 0 outs with 2 LHHs up after Stanton and Ben Rice on the bench ready to hit for Volpe if it got to that spot. I think the game plan was to keep those LHHers neutralized and get them to stay away from the short porch.

Crochet was freaking nails tonight in a must win game for the Sox. Also good to see the Sox take advantage of Judge’s arm with Sogard stretching that hit into a double and scoring on Yoshida’s hit. Huge play.
