Remember Stearns didnt even really wan a resign Pete lol. All he did was Cohen gave him a blank check to get Soto (okay no Brainerd)...and that's it. Literally. Every single move he made was atrociously terrible.

I swear to god if they don't make Pete resign Pete to a 5 year deal, making him a lifer, i could forsee taking a mets sobatical.
