My hottest take about 2025 is that the Yankees are still the better of the NY teams but neither of them are gonna win much more than 90 games

 

Frankie Montas himself said they basically have five number one starters so it must be true

 

The Yankees being a better team than the Mets isn’t a hot take, I can’t see how the Mets are better right now. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mets didn’t win 90 games either. I would be surprised if the Yankees didn’t win at least 90 though.

I think the Yankees either stay healthy and everything clicks and they win 105 or they don’t and it doesn’t and they’re a second or third wild card team. Second seems a little more likely to me
