pov your team hired the guy who traded betts for verdugo as their POBO a year before the job was actually available
Bloom was very very good at building up the farm system. The only knocks on him was that he was way too indecisive about signing FAs, especially to big deals, and making trades. He would often wait too long doing nothing and lost out on the trade/FA. He also apparently kept questioning himself on whether me made the right decision with his big FA signings (Story and Yoshida) which led to him staying put and not making any moves. The trade deadline when it wasn’t obvious if the Sox should be buyers or sellers was painful too. He didn’t go one way or the other, he just stood pat and missed out on some big opportunities to either buy or sell. And spoiler alert it never ended well for the Sox. I think he is a great asset to have in the front office but not sure he should be the leader of it.
Sammy back at Wrigley for the first time in 21 years PCA with the Step Brothers shirt of himself and Seiya Suzuki lol
