FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

I've accepted that the Yankees will never have that great AL East rival again. Anytime it seems like one of them will become a consistent thing, nope

Don't mean it disrespectful or anything even, like there was that season of the London game when Boston won the season series like 10 to 9, and it seemed like the rivalry was about to take off, but even then every game that season was a blowout like either way

    Make Yankees-Boston great again

  5. Juan Soto had a chance to silence Yankees fans: Now he’s Jose Altuve | Klapisch
Just as Soto turned his back on ESPN, he did the same to reporters who were waiting to speak to him in the post-game clubhouse. Soto got dressed and began walking towards the door. He told a Mets official he’d be back to answer questions after seeing family members outside.

    Soto never returned.

That’s not the same stand-up guy who was always at his locker last season. Even after being skewered on Friday, Soto spoke of the obligation to “take it like a man.” Two days later, he was running for the exit.

These are troubling signs for the Mets’ hierarchy. I’m told they’re concerned about Soto’s lack of enthusiasm for his new team. The only time Soto seemed happy this weekend was while he interacted with Judge, manager Aaron Boone and second baseman Jazz Chisholm during batting practice.

As I said, I’m no mind reader, but my hunch is that not only does Soto miss the Yankees, but the permanence of his decision is sinking in. Soto is staring at another 14-plus years in Flushing.
Haven't watched many Mets games this year but he definitely did not look like he was enjoying himself this weekend.

I haven't watched enough Mets baseball to have an opinion on how he's doing over there mindset wise, but everything I read sounds similar to that.

At first I did think that I kinda hope he stays awake at night thinking about how much better he would be doing if he was in pinstripes, but it does suck for him if he's not happy right now. He's way too good of a ball player and it's been less than 50 games. He'll start clicking and will be fine in the long run.

And I don't think we could judge (no pun) how he's feeling based on the way he looked at Yankee stadium in his first series back, getting booed and heckled incessantly lol. Not exactly going to put you in the best mindset when they were all screaming praises 7 months ago

my opinion is that soto is no question about it not playing to his potential to start the season, knows it, and isnt happy about it. i dont think it has a single thing to do with the mets or 'the burden of his contract'.

mets fans hated lindor his first season and wanted him gone when he and baez started the thumbs down thing. now they'll give lindor a key to the city if he asked for one. it's gonna be a longggggggggggg time before i start to even get remotely worried about soto.

the soto discourse is*exhauuuuuuuuuuustinggggggggggggg*, and, yes - if he would simply play a little better and give us a shuffle every now and then a lot of it would go away, but new york media absolutely loves to pummel dead horses.

Also the Soto stuff is wildly overdramatic, we are what, six weeks into the season?

Tough but no. Would rather have 3 stud hitters in the line up than an ace. Pitchers are just too risky.
