Jake Mintz made a bet on the pod that the White Sox wouldn’t hire the aging husk of Tony La Russa, but that if they did he would cycle from NYC to Chicago and fundraise for charity. Ended up raising nearly 30k for a group that does good work on the south side of Chicago for getting kids involved in baseball and softball

the bike trip culminated in a pod meetup at a Sox-Royals game and it was cool to hang with them and meet some likeminded people, one guy who I still hang out with to this day lol

 

Gleyber looking low key like an All Star again so far this year. Playing great for a very good Tigers team. Happy for that dude.

 

Every time I go look at the stats of anyone who’s on the tigers this years I’m astounded. Like obviously Javy is getting the most attention but it’s crazy how many guys either took a leap or are over performing. They got Zach McKinstry performing at a damn near 7 war pace for christs sake lol
