The media was killing Devers for not talking about moving to DH in spring training and have been hounding him daily since Casas got hurt trying to get him to talk about going to 1st. If he’s silent he gets killed for not talking if he talks he gets killed for what he says. Devers has given a total of 2 interviews all year to reporters. It’s not like he’s been going around talking non stop about it.

I said in multiple posts that the Sox did a terrible job with the Devers situation. You can’t just flip flop on a star player like this, he isn’t a video game character.
