a very minor “issue” (already overstating its importance to me) but one thing I don’t really enjoy about universal interleague play is that I liked when it would sometimes take a player years and years to return home for a standing ovation

apparently it took Nomar five years after being traded to find his way back to Fenway! and the time taken makes the applause that much sweeter and louder imo
