Which one? I was playing the matchups with Caleb and Ceedee was back this week so I figured that would eat into Ferguson’s share

I have Darnold and Rachaad White left vs Kittle and Jamo Williams. In a good spot but worried. BTJ’s dud game could fuck me when I have Sutton and Bourne on the bench.

Just got offered Rome Odunze straight up for Pickens. Typically don't do a 1 for 1 in same position trade but other guy said he wants to shake his team up after two Rome duds.

Pickens has bye week 10. Rome already had his bye.

Thoughts?

 

considering those 2 guys are basically in the same WR tier IMO, I would do it for the bye situation alone

Also, even though Dallas has a lot of mouths to feed, Pickens is in a muuuuuch more favorable situation

I would never, ever factor in a Bye week when considering a trade

I would never make any Fantasy Football decisions based on bye weeks. You collect the best talent that you can regardless of bye weeks. I’d rather have what I feel is the best talent in the playoffs rather than make a lateral (or in this case, imo, a worse) move just because of a bye week mid season.

more than halfway through the regular season? totally disagree, they should matter in a trade with the margins being so thin

I mean sure yeah if you're 7-0 and a lock for the playoffs I guess it doesnt matter as much, but still

 

I have Odunze and I am actively trying to package him and one of my million RBs for an upgrade lol. I wouldn’t purposely take him on rn

 

Mind you Pickens has been, quite literally, the second best WR in fantasy this season…but, nah, gotta account for the bye weeks!

If a team is 3-4 and fighting for a playoff spot with 7 weeks left in the fantasy regular season, then having a player available for 1 more game is important.

That also takes that player away from the person youre trading with for one of their games.

In my situation, I have Pickens and 3 other starters on bye during week 10 and my opponent has no players on bye so that week is looking like an automatic loss for me. Trying to get ahead of the curve since I'm fighting for a playoff spot.

Bye weeks are not important when drafting, but theyre absolutely important at this point in the season.
