Sabres have 3 players with 4 Cups amongst them, another with a trip to the Cup Final two years ago, two players with over 50 games of playoff experience, and 12 total players with at least one round of playoff experience. This isn't a full team of players with zero playoff experience. Also the Sabres are deeper and have a better D-core. Either way, should be a great series.
Also UPLs and Lyons numbers aren't too far off of Swayman's (at least basic stats like GAA and Save Pct), and the Sabres have shown they can score against top goalies.
Just because there’s a goalie doesn’t mean you can’t score. I think if anything the reasonable cap hit for five more years helps secure a decent return for Winnipeg if he were to ask for a move.
