More excited for this early season west coast swing than I have been in a while, baby Sharks and Ducks look fun so far.

 

How the fuck does he take less than Hughes who last I checked didn’t win a calder. And in Montreal no less. What a world.

 

Hughes is not at Hutson's level offensively for sure but he is way better defensively

that game starting at 9pm on a Tuesday was diabolical haha. I didn't finish but we were up 3-0 when I passed out. Very excited about how this team looks. That first period having MIN absolutely dominate possession/SOG and us still getting 2 goals, so good.

 

Otter was playing out of his mind, our defense has gotta step up but goddamn he's gonna keep us in every game at least. It's nice seeing our team actually hit and actually fight too, feels like they're no longer afraid to play hockey

Because we've gone to Ducks games in the past, I regularly get emails from their group sales department for discounted tickets or bonus things. I grabbed a pair of terrace level seats for tomorrow night for $23/each that include a post game "slapshot experience" on the ice where we get to take a few shots from the blue line. My son's going to lose his mind.

They were on eBay today for $75-100 and then the Ducks announced they were selling them in the team shop for $25.

 

my coworker is a sharks fan also and he showed me that today and I was like man that’s sick as hell

we both said damn we go there for that

 

Really fun game last night and apparently the largest crowd in Ducks history. 102% capacity.
