Had two tables that were just gonna go with wine by glass but I could sense they liked wine and were just intimidated by our list. I turned what would’ve been like two $17-$20 glasses for each guest, into one table of 2 ordering two $65 half bottles (one each) and a table of 3 ordering a $190 Merlot

killing it at my job even in slow season. Even when I have less guests than the other servers did I still finish with the most tips like 75% of the time
