Everything about Say Anything makes me uncomfortable. There are songs I enjoy, but Max is clearly not well and it makes me feel icky engaging with his art in any kind of way, past or present.

I wouldn’t necessarily judge you if you did, was just weighing in. I also agree that it’s musically a really good album that stretched the pop punk genre further instrumentally than most bands
