Yeah I have the friends and the amount of “nerd” and theoretically enough time on my hands for DND but the latter I’m already spending on my band and football, my two obsessions lol

and in the offseason I just go outside more on my days off so yeah DND is just never something that feels like it “fits”

cause I want to actually watch and pay attention and people be talking and distracting

 

i mostly agree with grim, i'm not going out to watch a football game i am invested in. too much noise, most times sound not on, too many distractions.

 

i will be sat in the pub friday evening with some pals for cheef charge but i do not care at all who wins that game so its all good

 

i also mostly hate conversing with other fans while the game is happening lol

 

I remember one time Laura and I went to a bar to watch a baseball playoff game and they had Appalachian State college football on instead and she freaked out

It was early on in her time in Texas

 

I don’t really enjoy watching Steelers with my friends/family either. Too much chit chat and distractions.

 

I would very much prefer not to be at a bar for a Pats game

 

Going to see the film Relay at 11:00 AM EST

 

conversely though i *need* to be around other rabid mets fans if im watching a playoff game. cannot be around casuals. will be going back into NYC for games this fall if they go on a run to be with those psychos again.

 

I've been watching most games illegally for like a decade so if uh anyone has alternatives to streameast let a brother know
