Alright team

I was offered the job to be controller at two BMW stores and one Mini store at my former company. Overall comp is more but it’s an 80/20 split between fixed salary and variable (bonus). The drop in salary is fairly large but the variable potential is big. The interesting thing about the bonus is you get a 50% advance on it every month with a settlement in January for the rest. I pushed back on the salary portion to see what they can do there and waiting to hear back.

Feels pretty comprehensive as a starting point with favortism being shown to older more established posters despite their current activity levels. Happy to hear appeals for those not on the list.
