Not really, there’s a handful of receivers and running backs more proven and on less cursed teams than he is. His ADP on most platforms is actually like 13-14

 

I don’t think taking him before then is a bad call but he’s not guaranteed first round, if for no other reason than because the Jags are cursed, people don’t think Trevor is that good anymore, and he has more competition for targets

In a rather insane turn of events, I have taken Puka Nacua in the 3rd

 

I love Nacua’s skillset but the value of Davante Adams is way better

The only recent prospects who were THAT good coming out of college are Saquon, and…. Nah that’s it, that’s the list. Zeke and Fournette, the previous two to get drafted that high, were not that good.

his understanding of leverage and contact balance is so fucking good though. Even without a great line dude is just not easy to get on the ground, he’s pretty consistent at making the first guy fail to get him down

 

Like, he’s not only gonna truck you, he’s not that kind of power back although he is capable of just running straight through somebody and he already has a preseason highlight of doing that lol. He’s more of the MJD / Marshawn Lynch style of power where his footwork, low center of gravity, and ability to read leverage in a split second, makes him have this absurd sixth sense of how to read exactly how the next 3 guys are gonna tackle him and position himself perfectly where none of them can get their full force behind it. He just bounces off of dudes with like an almost psychic ability to position himself where he can’t be tackled clean. I really feel like we haven’t seen that in the NFL in awhile and teams are gonna be shocked at how hard it is to uphold their fundamentals and defend without film on him.

 

He has a wide skillset but that specific skill is why i think he’s gonna be special and his inflated college numbers weren’t just stat padding in an easy situation like a Melvin Gordon or a Travis Etienne, he was doing that shit the hard way haha
