Man my job search just got infinitely more complicated. I’m being offered ownership in my current company and in the event of the sale of the company (highly likely in the next few years), the payout could be substantial.

at the minimum I’d probably be kept during a transitional period but it’s completely dependent on how the acquiring company does it. It’s probably like 50/50.
