Dude is being a #RealPisser. He shits in litter box just fine but has been peeing outside litter box for a few weeks.

We brought him to vet to rule out any medical issues and it cost us $230 to have him diagnosed as a bad man who is just picky and doesn’t have a blockage or UTI or urethra spasms.

I put a yoga mat over the spots he was going and it’s been good for about 4 days, until I caught this on our camera

I have a cat that stopped peeing in the litter box so I just put pee pads down where she likes to go. Makes it easy to just throw them away and put a new one down. No cleaning necessary. It’s too hard to get the smell of cat pee out.

 

The worst is we have a rug in this room lol. Will absolutely be needing to rip this up soon.

But good to know! I hope he gets back into his routine full time but might need to consider the pee pads if it gets worse

I kinda don’t agree that there are so many ways to be kept current lately. So many avenues of information are heavily inconvenient if not totally compromised so it really does suck to try to get a true idea of what’s going on. I do agree that directly engaging with it is beyond exhausting and bad (even if I can be guilty of it). I just don’t think there are tons of better ways to get information (though it’s not impossible obviously)
