No, it's about the quality of the LLWS. I want to preface that I believe anyone of any skill ability should get into youth sports if they want, and it's really cool for those kids to get to be on TV! That said, the product of Little League is actually inferior to other youth baseball leagues. These 11/12-year-olds play on the same dimensions and rules that I did when I was 8 years old. In Colorado, and I imagine every other state, Little League is looked down upon and the best players don't play in that league. Again, I want to reinforce that I think it's really cool that they broadcast on TV and those kids will never forget that, but it's not the best youth sports league by a wide margin
