our neighbors are some of our best friends

 

I only have one neighbor since the grimace house was torn down. At some point someone will build something.

 

My neighbors were arguing outside the other night when our windows were open. The wife was clearly drunk and the husband was being pretty reasonable. Then they had a party the next day and I figure that was probably awkward

This must be nice. I barely talk to any of my neighbors. The one I liked moved and the new people across the street are okay, but we don't hang out or anything

 

I talk to one neighbor all the time. The others, not so much

 

we have a progressive holiday dinner every winter with about 10 of our neighbors on our street and it's just the best. we have a block party coming up soon.

We don’t know any of our neighbors but mostly due to circumstance lol. Moved in October 2019 and didn’t really spend any time outside as we were unpacking and trying to get the house in order. Then it turned into winter so we didn’t spend time outside. Then covid so we really didn’t go outside or meet anyone for over a year. Then it was like well we’ve actually lived here for 2 years now it would be weird to be like hey we’re neighbors. And now fast forward to 2025 and we have mostly all new neighbors anyways since we moved in

 

Sounds like you had the perfect opportunity to meet the new people when THEY moved in. But I imagine they might be turned off pretty quick when they see your costume through the window

Also, we are extreme outliers in our neighborhood. Everyone is either much older than us, or the few people around our age have lots of children. We might be the only millennials without kids in our neighborhood lol
