Who of my west coasters remembers when Jack in the Box outfitted half of their locations into JBX - an "upscale fast food" with like beer, full entrees, and a fireplace in the dining area? Wild times.

 

Yeah Wendy’s has gone so far downhill that I actually now prefer McDonald’s despite it aiming lower / having a lower bar, because it’s consistent and it knows its place

Yeah all I know about Jack in the Box lately is that they pivoted heavily into directly appealing to the high people like "we put nuggets and fries on a burger and covered the bun in queso" or some shit (making it up but this might be real)
