yesterday at the pharmacy the lady said she liked my Bengals hat and if I'd ever been to a game. I told her I'd been to a Bengals games and to Cincinnati but never to a game up there. She said she went to a game in 2021 during the SB run and it was a ton of fun. When I asked her how she ended up at a game in Cincy, she said it was for meat judging.

I said come again?

And that is how I learned about meat judging. She said it paid for college and it's how she met her bf

I did know about it but I didn't realize it was a competitive activity

I just knew of it in terms of learning to judge so you can get good cuts at a market and know if you're being ripped off

 

Yeah I guess it makes sense when you're raised around agriculture but at the same time imagine standing in a freezer for 6 hours just to tell everyone that you found the best steak

 

I think I would enjoy sitting on a jury

 

I'd enjoy sitting on most people

 

some of the OF accounts i used to follow would offer meat judging but i think it was a different thing

 

prefer being sat on, tbh

 

Depends on where I'm sitting and where I'm being sat on but I'm down for all of it
