McDonald’s has started using a prerecorded voice in the drive thru to ask if you’re using the app and I hate it

I am also way too self conscious to say “yes” because I don’t know what happens next. And I do have the app and accumulate thousands of points and want them so one day I can get a free Big Mac

 

Yeah I use the app but they will never know if I'm ordering in person, it only comes into play when I do pickup somewhere

im pretty sure the only reason they ask if you use the app is because they assume youve placed an order for drive thru pickup and have a code to provide so they know its you lol

 

Yup I always use it for order pick up, never drive thru because I just don’t know to do and fear I’m too late in the game to ask lol

A few months ago I was at her house with my kids and she wanted to get Marco's Pizza and instead of using an app/website she lifted her phone and said "CALL MARCO" and it made me and Laura think of the Parks & Rec "Erase all pictures of Ron" scene and we couldn't stop laughing
