My friend's joke was actually that it would be an M so when he mooned people it would say MOM and when he did a handstand it would say WOW

Yeah I had a Catfish Po’ Boy from Parasol’s in the Garden District yesterday, which almost put me the fuck to sleep for the 3:00 hour of the lecture lmao (good thing they were going over things I already know like how to serve wine), and then I had a spicy-breading Shrimp Po’ boy and some garlic butter fries today from New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood which has several locations. Both sick.

My step dad had stories about getting drunk with his friends and shit in his 20s at Parasol’s lol

 

I wanted a fried oyster one but it’s not oyster season. Apparently New Orleans restaurants only serve them when they can get them local and that’s kinda sick. Apparently they have a saying that you can only get oysters in months that have an “r” (September thru April)

at first I was disappointed, then I realized that practice of only hyper local oyster sourcing is probably why oysters are so damn cheap here when they are in season lol. Everywhere else they’re priced at what it costs to import them cold right after being caught and then they pretend to give you “deals” on actually local oysters but down here it’s the other way around. So that’s pretty cool.
