Yeah when I met him was around the time he was having those vocal node issues so he couldn’t talk but he signed some of my stuff and was very appreciative. Always got the impression that he’s a really nice down to earth guy

I’ve met a couple of my favorites bands/artists randomly at shows and it’s always super weird and just like “hey what’s up” I can’t imagine paying a bunch of money for that experience.

Gotta hope they just finished working an overnight shift and it’s dinner time for them

 

One time I went to see a local band (doing my part) open for the ataris and the singer from the ataris cornered me to tell me he liked my one tattoo and then went on to talk at me for like 5-10 minutes about his one relationship and how he knew it was doomed but he stayed in it for a while.
