yeah, hope so! I can’t decide if the Ballard/Steichen Colts are a good landing spot because of the offense supporting cast and AR is just uniquely frustrating (stocks up for Danny Dimes Reclamation Tour?), an altogether bad landing spot and it’s time to start over, or just add to the mid-ness of the competition, and that probably has the most to do with if this works out

I just remembered that Tyler Lockett plays for that team now lmao

 

I’ll take a Jelani Woods. Nice counterbalance to Brenton Strange, maybe his catch point skills, Strange’s agility and route running, plus Farrell’s blocking all add up to one (1) single decent tight end

For my part:

- Stef Diggs hasn’t gotten more than 15 yards down field yet

- Drake Maye has done a good job not turning the ball over so far, and from most reports sounds like a seasoned competent QB already

- Jared Wilson and Henderson have been the standout rookies so far. Wilson is looking like he’s gonna win the LG job, and Henderson has been their most dynamic weapon by far. Campbell has had up and down days.

- The WR battle is the mid off of camp. Stef, Pop, Mack Hollins, Kyle Williams feels like a lock, so 1-2 spots max for Polk, Baker, Bourne and Boutte. So far I’d bet on Boutte and Baker

- Related to Will Campbell’s struggles, Keion White has been a monster so far.

- DJ James has been an exciting UDFA so far

- The camp itself has been a bit weird compared to what I expected out of Vrabel. Very low key and light work compared to the Bill years. Worried about a slow start on that front.

He’s had a lot of reps where he gets smoked, and then comes back the next play and wins the rep.

I like Wilson working at LG because with Campbell’s arms he’s gonna have to over compensate to the outside.

NFL network is on in the hotel and they showed the projected starting panthers defense and I didn’t know 3 of them

 

will post my Dolphins camp #taekes tomorrow, but in all honesty I think if they had even a league average CB room, they could have a good season tbh. The problem is they have #bad players there so they better hope the pass rush is very good
