pop stars can be so hit or miss as performers. not really different than other genres in that respect but i feel like the variance is “best show ive ever seen” or “why the fuck did i spend $100 on this” every time

last one i went to was dua which was kinda in the latter category

 

would love to see olivia though, she really has potential to be the GOAT i feel like

 

Olivia’s music is so good and she’s also consistently using her platform in very good ways. She’s awesome

There’s this one urgent care near me that is never busy so I go there and I wonder if there’s a reason it’s never busy

 

He long ago did you see Dua? I’ve heard this complaint about her before, but generally from her older performances. Saw her last October at ACL and she put on an incredible show. Also a little different situation since it was a festival and not just her lol

 

Wiz Khalifa is probably the most surprisingly good live show I’ve ever seen. I met him before and he was borderline awake so I assumed he was gonna suck live. He was phenomenal.

Went to grocery store to pick up a few water jugs.

Guy behind me in line asks: “what are you doing with that water?”

Me: “going to be drinking it”

Guy: “ahh, I see. When I buy those it’s because I’m wetting my son’s tortoise”

And then he talked a full 2 minutes on how fun “wetting his song’s tortoise” is. People just see me and wanna say their shit to me
