I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what Randall is saying and it’s pretty easy to see the leaps he is making imo with the way things are going currently. I do, however, agree that it’s not good for your mental health to CONSTANTLY worry about it (which, I don’t think he’s doing in here), but it’s certainly something every non-white person in this country should at least be very aware of

 

I can appreciate a lot of what posters are saying, but if your argument to the government doing something in bad faith is “well they won’t do that because there’s a law” you may need to be paying more attention

I do also think the argument of “I need a gun to protect myself against the government” is a silly one. The government would not get into a shootout with citizens, they’d do it in the least messy way possible like poisoning the water supply or something of that nature

 

this paragraph here is explicitly the reason why I don’t think my fear is far fetched. What’s happening in real time should make all of us hyper vigilant about how far this man & the alt right movement he inspired will go, and how far corruption and bribery and intimidation will take it past the people we THOUGHT would be our first line of defense
