no i wanted a job where i wasn't on my feet 100% of the time at work and the warehouse job here said 50/50 office/warehouse and it was 5 minutes from where kelsey and i had already decided to move in okc

 

I strongly support whatever the claim is to not hanging out and mingling with coworkers

I get paid in CAD, which is worthless

 

I’ll grab a beer once or twice a month with a few coworkers on a Friday, its chill

 

i don't mind my current coworkers but i'll never willingly spend time around them

 

Yes lots of times. I was genuinely pleased with my current job until they denied my raise a few months ago (and contrary to what my posting infers, I am a very high achiever and receive glowing remarks). Then a month or so ago my IRL friend who worked here left so I don't have that distraction anymore. This company is truly dogshit and is the epitome of do as I say, not as I do, and contradicts itself every chance it gets (part of the reason my friend left).

 

I enjoy self service kiosks and always hang out with people I worked with at my last company and will do happy hours with people at my current company.

 

The job I had before this I genuinely liked as well, made several friends with coworkers who I hung out with outside of work (one of them being the guy I mentioned in my previous post). Only reason I left that job was due to a hostile takeover that would have left me on the outside looking in

The pool will stay open until early September and then I migrate to the indoor pool

I also understand there's nuance to it. If you work at a place where you genuinely like your coworkers that's fine and great. I do not have that in my current situation. There aren't many people around the same age as me, and the ones that are, I have nothing in common with. I don't think there's anything wrong being against "forced" mingling with coworkers you don't give a shit about and they don't give a shit about you lol
