Profit margins from using things like self service kiosks should go towards UBIs for people to make up for that loss of labor, sucks that they don’t and never will

I am grateful for Walmart/Target having self checkouts only because they’ll have like 2 lines open and 17 people in each line taking their sweet ass time and dinking around

 

Eliminating the self service kiosk isn’t going to make companies pay more or hire more people. They’ll always be understaffed and the employees overworked and underpaid.
