Simply run on 4 hours of sleep for a 7am flight and run around on fumes at your destination for a 20 hour day like the rest of us

 

Just throws your whole vacation off, you don't have kids Max you don't have to live like this

 

Brother not having kids is exactly why I do this lol

 

if i can't sleep on the plane (didn't get a window seat, etc) then i support checking into your hotel and going straight for a nap. But if I can avoid this and have a nice lunch, walk around the city before i have plans with people, etc then I'll gladly do that.

I also can't sleep on planes no matter how hard I try. Flight to London was rough being that it was a 6pm departure out of Denver and with the time change landed at like 9am in London. Ran around for the whole day like a champ

 

I can't sleep in any moving vehicle. Not sure why but never am able to.

 

any amount of extra rest beats having to jump into a busy itinerary right away when the first thing you wanted from your vacation was to relax lol. I went to Europe once and while I might stand on my opinion that a lot of Italy is cooler and more fun than Rome, my whole memory of Rome was tarnished by being way too jetlagged to appreciate standing around in the sun to look at Roman ruins lol

Took me till our lovely country hotel in Tuscany to recover and be excited to wake up early and do a buncha shit

 

SLEEP ON PLANS

 

i wont be sleeping on the plane, i'll be listening to music and ordering a cocktail every time the flight attendant walks by.

 

I'll never live this shame down

 

I’ll be taking some planes in the next few weeks
