Spent last night in Alexandria VA, one of DCs nicest suburbs and the ONLY part of northern Virginia I actually like and isn’t just “okay, but soulless, unwalkable + also horrible to drive in, and terribly organized”.

So naturally houses there are like a million dollars lol. But it was nice. Played open mic at an art gallery and then walked around the beautiful waterfront area and took pics of all the lit up trees and colorful colonial buildings on King street

If you’ve seen the movies you’ll still be able to appreciate the IT references, but not needed or anything to enjoy. IT is maybe my favorite by Stephen King even if that’s not a hot take by any means. Just captures the “summer/coming of age” feeling better than any story I’ve read. However, doesn’t need to be that long and contains the stupidest, most insane scene he’s ever written.

I hope you enjoy 11/22/63 it’s prob 2nd or 3rd favorite by him and one of the few books I’ve been left tearing up.

 

11/22/63 is an absolute banger. Think it's still my favorite by him, followed by IT and The Stand
