So we boarded the plane even though this thunderstorm was right over us and now we’re waiting on the plane for it to pass and it’s a million degrees. A lot of brain power here in Columbus

 

Not getting along with dad is the fucking worst. Me and mine didn’t really talk for like 3 years, including the year I got married, and it took me a long time to get over his trump shit and for him to realize him bringing it up is the reason I couldn’t stand to be around him. We still have very different views, but what was once a tense ceasefire has been able to recover to a positive (although nowhere near what it was pre-Trump) connection.

 

Also, Pat hell yeah on the dresser and nightstand!

I have literally never done a handy thing in my life, but I’ve been following thedodgygardener on Instagram and he has inspired me.

I started last weekend with a 4”x4” drywall repair in the bathroom where the toilet paper holder came out of the wall.

this weekend I started redoing the walkway to our outdoor shower with a 5’x7’ paver walkway. On track to finish tomorrow and I am sore af. The good news is that I’ve been losing weight recently and working my ass off on this project has pushed me under three bills!

Neither of these things are impressive to anyone, but when I tell you I cant do shit, I really mean it.
