it is truly insane to see what some younger folks these days wear on job interviews lol

i didnt wear a full suit on my interview at this job but a shirt and tie is the ***bare minimum*** i feel, and like, hoo boy some kid was here last week in a hat. i checked it wasnt elf.

makes no sense to own a suit these days with how easy and quick it is to just rent one the one or two times a year i need one, plus my summer body has been in the shop for several years now and im not spending money to own a suit i may fluctuate in and out of lol

  11. Well this job is five days a week in office which can go to four once I’m there long enough. Which is a negative compared to only needing to be in three days at my current job. So makes sense they are bringing people in person. The pay bump will be worth the extra two days in office I think.

I own 2 suits. One fit 40 lbs ago. The other would fit if I gained 15 lbs. So both are useless.

In person or zoom interview? Because in person I’d 100% wear a suit, but I feel like it’s kinda psychotic to do that for a remote interview

  19. Doing outer banks next year then might take a year off of any big trips. Probably get talked into Disney after that.

i am referring to in person interviews, i think zoom is probably a more casual setup but id probably be in a shirt and tie on zoom as well. also completely depends on the industry i think.
