Im so glad I didnt have to deal with this during our home buying process; market was still so hot that it was take it or leave it type deals. Closest we got to it falling apart was the closing being delayed about a week because the girl buying it was doing FHA loan AND rolling her student debt into the mortgage, so Im sure that took a while to underwrite.

 

Nah, basically what happened is they upped their initial bid to compete, with the idea that they would then whittle it back down on the other end. They wanted a $5k credit. Beads and I came back with $1,500 and they accepted it immediately. So it was gonna be a yes to whatever because they just wanted to lower the cost as much as possible.

 

I feel this way about phone calls but feeling this way about texting is wild to me. literally what is the difference between a text or an instagram/messenger/twitter message lol

 

And thats when you take their earnest money from them

 

like all you're making me do is use a different app to a receive a message the same way

 

With everything that happened last time, I'm like...so on guard for any sketchiness from the buyers.

 

i don't care about this at all, zaslav sucks but this movie also very likely will be bad and people choosing it as their hobby horse to defend to the death is weird

 

group texts are fine i promise if you feel this strongly one way or the other about them you are overthinking it

Texts go to a platform I keep notifications on for even if I’m out and about or busy in case someone in my immediate IRL personal life needs to get a hold of me. Social media I will actually just not be on when I’m busy with my band or doing something out, because that’s more reserved for spending time socializing with people I appreciate, whereas a text message is “I need your attention on this ASAP” if it’s not family or my partner

 

genuinely annoyed on and offline that someone either a) is not a poster on this website and trolled the accountability in music thread on forum dot chorus dot fm just to look for posts related to brand new to text me about it or b) someone that uses this site texted a screenshot of it to them that they then texted to me. fuck off lol.

 

they also texted it directly to a group text with like 10 people in it, most of whom either don't give a shit at all/have no awareness of the band and their cancellation or who either are quiet about their support or outwardly don't support them to be like "guess Patrick thinks I'm a moron!" fuck off man yeah I do!

well, yeah

 

you can mute individual texts or group texts so that you only get notifications from family or immediate personal life if this is a concern. like, you don't have to think about it this way lol

 

well i said this before i saw your other posts and the looney tunes thing felt blown out of proportion!

 

Just skip them and don't look back.

obviously choose to communicate however it best works for you but the thought of purposely limiting specific platforms to who i want to communicate with on them just stresses me out lol
