@spiffa0 is accounting actually hard or is the hard part just finding and correcting junior accountant dumb mistakes that they’ve been taught over and over not to do

 

they teach you effect vs. affect in law school you guys still got time

 

Like I feel like accounting itself is straightforward if you memorize and follow all the rules of how you’re supposed to do it, but catching instances of the rules not being followed before it becomes a problem for the company would actually be very hard and require adept pattern recognition lol

 

i simply know the difference because i have an elevated mind

 

I think my college classes were harder than the real life accounting I have done / currently do. The challenge is the team making mistakes or weird accounting problems that arise that are abnormal.

 

I'd just like to state for the record that the scholarships were all awarded.

But then I also found out that we go through this whole ridiculous grading process with the rubrics and all that and then the department heads will sometimes just override all that and give it to who they want anyway, so that is very cool

 

do you gather up all the kids you didnt grant scholarships to and laugh in their faces?

it’s a good one for sure.

I also quite enjoy lunch specials at sushi places. Sometimes it be way cheap to get like, two/three rolls, miso soup and a seaweed salad or something and I’m in heaven. Or if they have a sashimi / nigiri lunch special FUCK yeah.
