Sometimes I find it can be a tone saturation thing, like, I have to crank my Vox louder than my Orange because even though it has louder percussive “peaks”, the “body” of that tone isn’t nearly as midrange-forward and constantly staying at that volume as the Orange is. So although the software is showing them at the same volume, I either have to reshape the Vox tone with EQ or simply record it with the preamp’s input volume hotter to get both tracks to have the same influence on the overall sound.

Extra compression might help

That 27” by 29” recreation room in the basement, with the weird hallway, and weird alcove in the corner, and it’s own bathroom and the natural desk & speakers area and the natural larger drums / amps room… is a recording studio you cannot convince me otherwise

The upstairs bedroom is also the band practice space / record listening space and you cannot convince me otherwise

it’s walking distance from Lake Michigan and less than an hour from Chicago in a beautiful hilly wooded neighborhood

it’s ideal

Frankly, the fate of the proposal looks more than “unclear.” If the “sentiment” in the Competition Committee is “mixed,” that’s not a good sign for securing a supermajority when it’s time for the owners to vote on the change.
